This project’s goal was to capture an authentic snapshot of how 2024 Nathan feels. Like many people, I have a complicated relationship with my smile. Taking this photo became a journey that unexpectedly mirrored my artistic growth, and I’m so proud of it.

The Prause’s are such beautiful, hardworking people. Capturing the genuine joy and smiles of them interacting with their first child, a baby girl, was a priceless moment I will cherish forever.

From dramatic black-and-whites to the tea split during shoots, everyone has something to say. I love everything dramatic, and adore listening to everyone’s stories - almost more than I love photography!

When taking photographs you often get to meet wonderful & interesting people. Anshulika is both those and a talented actor too! I loved our conversations together, thank you for coming to the studio!

Talking about life is a huge part of photography, and I love it. Art connects our unique perspectives, and this shoot was especially wonderful, as I reconnected with someone I haven't photographed in years!
